Debra's presentations at the Education Minnesota Conference, the annual Fall conference with over 10,000 teachers (her 8th visit to this conference, Debbie with both Ronald and Lucy at that same conference, her trip to Westminster College in Pennsylvania, and her 9th visit (over the last 13 years) to Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, for "Transgender Day of Remembrance".

Over 2,000 people attended this event and Debra's morning presentation was attended by so many people, they had to turn folks away. And Debra's keynote address for Truman State University's (MO) Diversity Week."

The "Early April, 2005 photos section" includes photos from Debra's trip to New York State and the University of Rochester and Nazareth College, both in Rochester.

The "March, 2005 photos section" includes photos from Debra's trip to the Minnesota Social Services Conference - where she presented a very successful workshop and also had a booth, the City of Lakes Crossgender Community - Spring Fling, her presentation at St. Paul Central High School, and her twice yearly lecture at the "Working with Families in Social Services" class at the University of Minnesota.

The "Winter, 2005 photos section" includes photos from Debra's trip to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, a small conservative southern college, where she presented to nearly 400 students. She than traveled to the University of Connecticut to be their special guest for Transgender Awareness Day on campus. The following weekend she brought the Gender Education Center's booth to the Midwest Bisexual, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, and ally College Conference. She also presented a workshop attended by over 200 conference participants.

Included in the first set of fall photos is Debra with Connie Hope at the Human Rights Campaign dinner in Minneapolis, MN; Debra on her deck during her interview for LivingOUT newspaper; a photo from a march and vigil for a transgender youth that was brutally shot, Debra's booth and panel presentation for the Hennepin County's GLBT Family sessions, Debra's trip to Carleton College in Northfield, MN, Television interview at the University of Minnesota, and finally, her yearly trip to Education Minnesota, "Minnesota Teachers Conference" each fall.

The second set of Fall photos "Late Fall 2004 photos section" includes Debra's trip to Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA, her first trip to New York City, and a presentation for Credit First Suisse of Boston. She also had the opportunity to spend some time with the staff and students at Harvey Milk High School in New York, just off Park Avenue and Astor Place. This is the nation's only GLBT High School and the students were awesome and wonderfully receptive. Debra next talked with the Advanced Health class at Irondale High School, just north of Minneapolis, and then on to talk with the confirmation class at the United Church of Christ, at their Fall Retreat. She spoke at the University of Minnesota, at the "Working with Families" graduate level class for the Family and Social Services Department, and then on to La Crosse, WI to keynote their Transgender Remembrance Week events.

The "photos from some of Debra's Summer Events, 2004" page includes the workshop at the "Re-examining Our Approach: Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in the GLBT Community" Conference (mid-May). Debra presented: "Re-defining Services to Women - Creating Inclusive Shelter Spaces for Transgender Women." Debra and the Gender Education Center's booth at the Twin Cities PRIDE 2004 Celebration with her granddaughter Victoria. And photos after her presentations at the International Bisexual Conference in Minneapolis, and also after she spoke for the City of Lakes Crossgender Community's monthly meeting in St. Paul, both in early
August, 2004

The "photos from Debra's busy last week of April, 2004" page includes the "Transgender Voices Festival - exploring singing, speaking & stories" at Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, Minnesota, where Debra gave an opening presentation and workshop. Then to Prospect Park United Methodist Church, Minneapolis Minnesota, to talk with members of the congregation about transgender inclusion. Then off to the University of Wisconsin, River Falls and the Diversity Recognition Banquet where she delivered the Keynote Address and also a Feature Presentation later that evening. Then later in the week she presented the opening Keynote address for the Prep Centers "GLBT Forum - Gay, Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Students: The School Experience" Conference, School District 287 (all 13 suburban school districts in western Minneapolis, Minnesota). She also presented two workshops on "Transgender Issues in Education" at this conference.

The Early April, 2004 photos page includes Debra's trip to Lawrence University - Appleton, WI "Who are the people in your neighborhood" Conference, where she gave the Keynote Presentation, and then her travel to Coe College - Cedar Rapids, IA, "Pride Week" for a Major Presentation and also hosting their "College Issues Dinner." She then traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, to deliver the Opening Keynote address for their "Transgender Awareness Week." The next day she was off to Indiana University, Bloomington to help them observe the "National Day of Silence" and delivered their Opening Keynote address.

The February & March 2004 photos page includes Debra's trip to North Dakota State University - Fargo "Women's Week," potluck dinner with "Out in the Valley," the St. Croix Valley GLBT Social Group," State University of New York College at Genesee - "Pride Month" Feature Speaker and University of North Carolina - Greensboro, "PRIDE 2004" - Key Note Speaker.

Winter 2004 photos include a trip to Miami University at Oxford, Ohio and their "Awareness Week 2004," and the "16th Annual Multicultural Forum" at the Minneapolis Hilton. Also Debra's Keynote Address at the "TwinCities Pride 2004 Grand Marshall's Reception" and celebration at the Mall of America. All in February of 2004.

Fall 2003 photos include the Out & Equal Workplace Summit in Minneapolis, the Human Rights Campaign Heroes Reception and dinner, and the National LGBT Band Conference. Also a page including her visit at the Catholic Ministries on Sexual Minorities presentation series, Moravian & Lehigh Colleges in Bethlehem PA, Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter MN, Northern Michigan University in Marquette, and a series of photos taken at Debra's Feature Presentation for University of Wisconsin - La Crosse's "Transgender Remembrance Week" in November. And finally, a photo with Ronald McDonald, who was at the Education Minnesota conference where Debra presented to a "standing room only" crowd of Minnesota teachers, educators and administrators.

The Gender Education Center spent two wonderful days at Twin Cities Pride Celebration in June of 2000.
